| 07/10/2008 | ADJUTANTS TROPHY | Congratulations to Sevenoaks Detachment for winning the adjutants trophy. The Adjutants Trophy is a competition held annually by cadets from D company. This year 10 teams took part in the competition. They competed in the following activities during the weekend: First Aid, Drill & Turnout and a Night navigation exercise to name a few. Major Pellet (OC D Company) congratulated the team on their well earned victory. |
| 07/04/2008 | Hythe Festival | This years Hythe Festival takes place this weekend. The army cadets will be involved in various ways including taking part in a parade on Saturday and competing against other cadet units in a falling plate shooting comptition. We wish all of them good luck. |

Make sure you speak to your detachment commander for your copy or it can be downloaded from this website for FREE. Articles include BTEC, Competition Time and Poppy Appeal amongst other things. | 07/03/2008 | Annual Camp | Yes! all the ground work and planning is completed and we are now all getting reay or that time of year again. Annual Camp this year is to be held at Wretham camp in Thetford, Norfolk. the training provided promises to be fun, challenging and exciting. Whilst at camp cadets will be given the oportunity to take part in many different activities from rock climbing to a possible helicopter flight as a passenger. |
| 13/12/2007 | County Skills Winners 2007 | Congratulations to Kent RE Squadron for winning the County Skills competition. The team was managed by Capt. Morris and SI Money. The team consisted of: Bdr Thackery, Bdr Ashburn, Cpl Batten, Sgt Hokings, LCpl Margett, Bdr Thompson, Sgt Swallow and LCpl Craggs. The team will now go on to represent Kent ACF in the regional skills competition to be held later this year. GOOD LUCK AND WELL DONE ! |
