19/01/2009Kent ACF Raise Over £1400 for St Dunstan's Recently Cadets from the Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks detachment’s of the Kent Army Cadet Force (KACF) were presented with their certificates and badges after their St Dunstan’s ‘Go the Distance’ Cadet Challenge. The evening was hosted by the Sevenoaks detachment, based at Argyle Road, Sevenoaks. The event was kicked off by the presentation of a cheque for £1460, raised as a result of their highly successful and enjoyable Cadet Challenge.
19/01/2009 First in England for Captain WoodCaptain Rob Wood, County DofE Officer of Kent ACF has become the first person in England to gain the Advanced Certificate In DofE Leadership. The certificate was presented to Rob at Cadet Training Centre Frimley Park by Sam Bennie, DofE National Operations Manager.
07/10/2008ADJUTANTS TROPHYCongratulations to Sevenoaks Detachment for winning the adjutants trophy. The Adjutants Trophy is a competition held annually by cadets from D company. This year 10 teams took part in the competition. They competed in the following activities during the weekend: First Aid, Drill & Turnout and a Night navigation exercise to name a few. Major Pellet (OC D Company) congratulated the team on their well earned victory.
